At Tiny House Records, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, chosen password (stored securely as a cryptographic hash), and your Artist/Stage Name.
- Audio & Metadata: We collect the audio files (MP3, WAV), cover art images, track titles, and genre hints you upload to the platform.
- Payment Information: If you upgrade to a PRO or Ultra tier, your payment information is collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Stripe. Tiny House Records does not store or process your raw credit card numbers.
- Usage Data: We collect basic telemetry data, such as stream counts and play history, to provide analytics to our artists.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Tiny House Records platform.
- To host your audio and stream it to listeners via our global player.
- To process your audio through our AI systems to generate tags, BPM, and mood descriptions.
- To process your subscription payments and manage your account tier limits.
- To send you important administrative emails (e.g., welcome emails, password resets, billing updates).
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform, strictly under the following conditions:
- Payment Processors: We share necessary account identifiers with Stripe to facilitate subscription billing.
- AI Partners: We transmit your audio metadata and track context to our AI partners (e.g., DeepSeek) strictly for the purpose of generating platform metadata.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
4. Data Security & Storage
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your account and audio files. Your passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Audio files are stored securely on our server architecture. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your Data Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you. You can delete your individual tracks directly from your Artist Portal. If you wish to permanently delete your entire account and scrub all associated audio files and data from our servers, please contact our administrative team.
